Terms of Use

1. Using JoClip

You may use JoClip to create and edit content you own or have permission to use. You must be legally able to agree to these terms, or use the service with a parent or guardian’s permission where required. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity in your account.

Do not use JoClip for unlawful activity, violate another person’s rights, distribute malicious code, interfere with the service, or attempt to access accounts or systems without permission.

2. Your content belongs to you

You keep ownership of your videos, photos, audio, text, and exports. JoClip does not claim ownership of your creations. You give us only the permission necessary to process and store information you choose to send to our services, such as account-based project information or support messages.

You are responsible for permissions and licenses for music, fonts, footage, and other material you use. The availability of a tool or an imported asset does not grant rights to someone else’s content.

3. Local projects and backups

Source media and local projects depend on your device or browser storage. Clearing app or browser data, removing the app, losing access to files, or changing devices may make a project unavailable. Keep your own copies of source files and important exports. Saving project information to an account is not a backup of your source media.

Features, supported formats, and export performance can differ by device, browser, app version, and plan. No tool can guarantee that every media file will be supported.

4. Subscriptions and payments

Some features may require a paid plan. The price, billing period, included features, and any trial terms are shown before you confirm a purchase. Availability and prices may vary by region and platform.

App Store and Google Play subscriptions are billed through the account used to purchase them. Auto-renewing subscriptions renew unless cancelled according to the store’s rules before the next renewal. Manage or cancel them in your store account’s subscription settings. Deleting the app or your JoClip account does not cancel a subscription.

For website purchases, use the billing portal available through your account. Cancellation generally stops future renewals, with access continuing for the period already paid for. Refunds are handled by the store or payment provider under its policies and applicable consumer law. Nothing here limits your statutory rights.

See subscription support for management and refund links. Do not purchase the same plan on multiple platforms unless you intend to maintain separate subscriptions.

AI Credits

The selected subscription offer shows its included monthly AI Credits before purchase. Full-price monthly offers include 500 Creator or 2,000 Pro credits; discounted and annual offers include a lower monthly allowance based on their price. Yearly subscriptions release their displayed allowance monthly, rather than all at once. Existing paid commitments and previously granted credits are preserved. Unused credits carry over after a membership ends. Optional cloud AI shows a maximum credit price before generation, reserves credits while processing and charges on successful delivery. Failed requests and unused reservations return to availability. AI output can be inaccurate or differ from your prompt; review it before publishing. Only submit media and likenesses you have permission to use. Do not use these tools for unlawful impersonation, fraud, harassment or sexual content involving minors. Credits have no cash value and are not a payment account.

A refund reverses credits associated with the refunded purchase. Partial refunds remove a proportional share, rounded down to whole credits. If refunded credits have already been used, the wallet records a credit adjustment; future grants clear that adjustment before further spending. This does not create a payment you owe or authorize an extra charge. Refund decisions remain with the relevant store or payment provider under its policies and applicable law.

Purchasing in the mobile app does not require registration. Sign in to link your anonymous membership and credit history to an account. Keep your store account and device recovery access secure; a store receipt cannot sign you into a registered JoClip account.

5. Our software and services

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive right to use JoClip in accordance with these terms and applicable store rules. JoClip’s software, branding, and interface remain the property of their respective owners. Third-party software and assets may have separate licenses.

For the iOS app, Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies where applicable. Apple is not responsible for operating JoClip or providing its support.

6. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what data is processed, why it is used, and how to request access or deletion.

7. Service availability and responsibility

We work to keep JoClip reliable, but cannot promise uninterrupted service or error-free editing. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available, without additional warranties. We are not responsible for indirect losses or loss of data arising from use of the service except where applicable law requires otherwise.

These terms do not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded, or remove consumer guarantees and other mandatory rights in your country.

8. Ending your use

You may stop using JoClip at any time and delete your account. We may restrict access where necessary to address misuse, security risks, or legal requirements. Account deletion does not remove media already saved to your device, cancel store subscriptions, or remove records we must retain by law.
